In celebration of William Shakespeare’s 450th birthday this week,  enjoy David Tennant reading Shakespeare’s Sonnet 71, “No longer mourn for me when I am dead.”

David did this reading in 2012 for a special iPad app by Touch Press that featured readings of all 154 of Shakespeare’s Sonnets by an all-star cast of actors, writers, academics, and Shakespeare experts, including Sir Patrick Stewart, Fiona Shaw, Stephen Fry, and Oliver Ford Davies. The app features readings with highlighted texts, the Arden Shakespeare notes, a commentary by Don Paterson, and the ability to share the performances via social media sites or e-mail.
